The objective of this subject is to give students the opportunity to develop their fashion ideas through realization of seasonal fashion collection for spring/summer. Students are able to express their individual sense of fashion design. Various themes and collection purposes are assigned to students, which enables them to explore the fashion silhouette and interpret the fashion line in their own way.
The lectures introduce students to developing of the ideas for their collections, to the level of Advanced designer project. Fashion drawing and experimenting with various silhouettes and with modeling directly on mannequins is useful for designing new and unique clothing lines. Students follow current trends and styles, and practice fashion sketches. Students also create their own portfolio from chosen models, and learn how to use advanced Kaledo Style software options for drafting their designs.
Practical exercises (and Advanced designer project) consist of creating several clothes models from textile and exhibiting them. Creating of clothes is done with the help of advanced functions of Kaledo Style software.
