The Student Parliament is an institutional body of the Faculty recognized by the Law on Higher Education. Through the Faculty's Student Parliament, students exercise their rights and protect their interests at the Faculty and at the University.
The importance of student organizing, through student issues and politics, as well as involvement in additional activities of the student parliament, can help improve future students through informal education.
The competence of the student parliament is reflected in the activities of ensuring the quality of teaching, reforms of study programs, determining the number of ESPB points, improving mobility (exchange and training), encouraging scientific and research work of students. It also deals with electing and dismissing its members (board of directors, delegates). As well as extracurricular activities, coordinating sports teams, conferences, faculty promotions, forums, student parties, excursions and humanitarian activities.
The composition of the Student Parliament of the faculty consists of the board of directors (president, vice-president and secretary), other members and the student vice-dean.
The student vice-dean represents the executive body of the parliament, which conducts direct communication through the college of deans, NNV and the Faculty Council. It is the main link between the students and the faculty administration.
The Student Parliament has 21 members in its convocation.
The Student Parliament elects and dismisses student representatives (delegates) in the Faculty's bodies from among the students
All students of a higher education institution enrolled in the school year in which the Student Parliament is elected have the right to membership in the Student Parliament.
The method of election is determined by a general act of the SP. The election of members is held every second year in April, by secret and direct voting. They are announced by the president, and their mandate lasts two years.
