Katarina Ivanovic graduated from University of Kragujevac in 2007 and received the title of Bachelor with Honours in English Language and Literature. She received the title of PhD in Philology in 2017 by defending the doctoral thesis named Semantics and Pragmatics of Prepositions in Contemporary English Language.
She has been employed at the Technical Faculty 'Mihajlo Pupin' since 2020, as a teacher of English as a foreign language at all study programmes. In the period from 2010 to 2018, she was employed as a teaching assistant at the study programme English language and literature and EFL teacher at other study programmes at the State University of Novi Pazar.
She published six papers in scientific journals and participated in numerous scientific conferences of national and international importance. Areas of her scientific interest are semantics and pragmatics, as well as English for Special Purposes. She is a member of The Foreign Language and Literature Association of Serbia.
